Hi, I'm Leila Oberdorfer, head designer and planner here at Brilliant Event Design.
I began my love affair with design early — studying interior design at Purdue, then working in hospitality design in Miami, designing nightclubs, restaurants, and hotel lobbies. When I was invited to plan the annual Interior Designer Gala, everything clicked: this fusion of design and planning was exactly what I was meant to do.
After meeting my husband while living on opposite coasts, we moved to San Diego in 2010, and I've been planning weddings, social events, and corporate affairs ever since. I'm brain ambidextrous — equal parts creative and analytical — and organization really is my middle name.
