That might mean pulling a venue's blueprints myself to solve a design challenge, or building a custom piece when the room can't quite do what you pictured. If it's in my wheelhouse, I do it.

Hi, I'm Leila Oberdorfer — head designer and planner here at Brilliant Event Design. My job is simple: you, your partner, and your guests get to be fully present, while I handle everything else.
I bring an unusual mix to the table — equal parts creative and analytical, right-brain design instincts paired with a left-brain love of logistics (floorplans included, computerized and to scale), all while staying calm under pressure. Above all, I make sure the final result is reflective of you, not a template. That's what lets you spend your wedding day as the guest of honor, not the person running it.
